Just official drinks, no antifreeze, aftershave or brake fluid
1) Gin - Palatable only when severely diluted with something fizzy - even then it ain't all that
2) Vermouth - half a pint of Vermouth on a boat, Hell on earth
3) Pernod, Ricard, Ouzo - I can't even stand the smell of this crap
4) Boiler Maker - couple of shots of cheap scotch in your pint of Harp
5) Curacao - Blue Bols - It looks like something you would clean the bathroom with

I don't like the gin we get over here, but in Menorca they do a gin made in Mahon. It is served with real lemonade and it is lovely.
The only drink that makes wretch is scotch and water. However I do like scotch and dry. |

Just googled it. the gin is called Gin Xorigeur. Don't know if you can get it over here, but it's a kickass summer drink with cloudy lemonade and ice.

Some years ago on holiday in Ibiza I was given a drink called Ierbas Ibizenza or something like that.. it was the most godawful drink that ever passed my lips. it was what I imagine scented petrol would taste like.
Benedictine.. why? Any Scotch... got hammered on it in 1989, haven't gone near it since. Southern Comfort, just don't see why anyone would drink it. Jack Daniels, my fav at the moment. Ouzo.. drink plenty of it on holiday in Greece, never touch it at home, just doesn't taste the same. Retsina... an aquired taste, the cheap stuff they sell in Greece is quite nice.. after 2 bottles it becomes delicious  |

the 80% Captain Morgan Rum...deary me, got some terrible memories of that muck. 'only had to take the top off the bottle and half the pub would be gagging just from the smell. Vile poisonous stuff...makes me shudder just thinking about it.

Stroh has defeated me though. Can't even seem to hide the taste in coke or coffee. Although I prefer Stroh to cider. Can't even get past the smell of cider |

Lager is a quite pointless drink.
Cider is awful stuff. Retsina agreed too. Corona wins this hands down imo. |

At uni, one of my greek friends used to brew his own Ouzo. Was the worst stuff I've ever tasted, like paint stripper!
