I have inherited a sky+box from someone. with no set up instructions etc.
Do I need a satelite dish to make it work/receive pictures etc?
I don't have one (or a Sky subscription, obviously).
All thoughts gratefully received.

No need for a dish. The millions of subscribers just have them to show off.
Thanks. I meant can I get non-sky channels etc just through a normal aeriel.
if I had a satelite dish but no sky subscription, is that any use?
