Well, as I don't, I would like to wager: £60 win Lucky 15 on the following mon amis: Michael Douglas 4/1 (hanging up his braces this year methinks) Ronnie Biggs 6/4 (a 'steal' at that price) Margaret Thatcher 7/2 (the back seat driver looks like she will nod off past Keele Services) Peter O'Sullivan 4/1 (If he croaks early he will be 'calling them home' - & far better than Thommo too eg....."and as we reach August Paul Gascoigne has finally given up the bottle & is now 'tanking' along, but Mrs Thatcher is struggling at the rear as she has had a full time colestemy bag fitted....Bernard Cribbins is back on the bit after revealing his bowel cancer scare was nothing more than a severe case of farmer Giles.......) I would usually wish everybody GL with their bets, but feel this is distateful. So I wish myself GL only. P.S Anyway, joking aside could we all throw a tenner in the pot, half going to a cancer charity (or something similar) & half going to the winner? |
