By "Aliens" I assume you mean alien lifeforms. It would be rather unrealistic to assume that only one planet in the Universe could support 'life'.
Whether or not we would recognise it as life, is another matter. On the other hand, would the other lifeform recognise Earth life?
Our scientists like to state that water is necessary for life to exist. Why should this be true? Fair enough, all lifeforms on Earth may require water, but we inhabit a water-based planet so that wopuldn't be entirely unexpected. Other life forms may find it as impossible to survive in our conditions as we would in theirs.

naydam i agree -- they could easily live off say methane or similar.

Definitely some unexplained things out there that can't be explained.

You're probably right on that assumption, Naydam... Marine creatures would find it difficult to believe anything could live outside the ocean.

I can't remember who said it, maybe Einstein, but when asked whether he would be astonished if it were found that there was life on other planets, he replied that he would be more amazed if there were not.

I watched a TV programme which suggested that not only do they exist but the chances are that they'll be here before Christmas.  That was about two years ago.

On the other hand, if they're clever enough to get here, they could probably do so undetected.

I was a non believer until the World Cup. Strange beings were filming throw ins on some kind of pointy device thingy. They just can't be of this World.

I have no reason to believe they don't.

Statistically I'd put money down they do SOMEWHERE, probably many places, but as to if we will ever meet them in our lifetime? Doubt it.

I wouldn't be surprise if life on earth was originally put here by aliens, like they seed likely planets with life then leave them to it.

If I was a hyper intelligent lifeform it's the sort of thing I'd do. Same as some people grow hanging baskets :)
