I saw lee scratch perry play live just over a week ago. Managed to get a photo with him afterwards which made my night. Been listening to Arkology constantly for over ten years and it never gets boring! 79 and still going strong, Upsetters played some excellent stuff that night, even the bloke on the keyboards doing sound effects with his voice at the same time.

I love the way that scratch makes a tune, then dubs it and dubs another one and you end up with 4-5 versions of the same song with a slight twist to each one!
This is one of my favourites on Arkology (apologies if re-post) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tqslpioniQ Called 'Bird in hand' on the third disc. Some excellent vocals which is a shame since you only get to here them once. You can tell a second verse has been faded into the tune after the first set but it leaves you crying out for more volume so you can hear them!
