I visit from time to time, 2 hours by train but as much as I like Central London Im always glad at the end of the day to be getting out and well away. Would hate to live there. Would not even feel safe living in the nicer parts, Kensington etc.The further away you get from central London the more you begin to see what a disaster Labour created and areas LITERALLY more dangerous than Kabul, Islamabad or Baghdad. I feel sorry for the people who have to live there to be honest.

Minimum wage earners who have trouble living on their wages, never mind saving for a deposit on a house elsewhere. The elderly, who are stuck there in council houses (until the tories kick them out) Do you think anybody with a few quid would stay there by choice ? |

So you don't want the poor areas filling up with immigrants but as soon as another immigrant gets a nice house in Notting Hill you're up in arms about that too. Make your mind up, imo.

The much reported somalian family costing £2k a week, who still owes his previous landlord £7k. The afghani woman with 7 kids in a house costing OVER £2k a week, since 2008, when it was reported, and was going to be acted upon, but she's still in there now. There were cheaper properties in the same road in Acton. |

Would it make me a vile racist pig if I was to ask if "black" crime (afro carib/african etc) was at similair levels per rata of % population in most countries with a sizeable population of black people?
Im wondering if say Detroit or Washington has a similair % of black crime to say london/Paris/Birmingham/Amsterdam or it's more of a feuding uk thing where we've simply let too many in that semi poverty is assured and has the crime knock on effect? |

I would say it is much higher in Amsterdam and Paris. Mostly due to they fact that they are treated much worse than in London

There's some work gone onto that website. However, having conducted a brief and very unscientific review of the first ten from the left you've little to fear unless you're gay, have a mental ex, play sunday league football, or are in the habit of taking rather big risks you're likely to be safe enough!
