I didn't respond yesterday, as there was still a slim chance I wouldn't make it! Strange isn't it, that some on here know a great deal about ones life. I was on here for three months before I even knew about the forum and after that played my cards close to my chest. Bit by bit, snippets of information have allowed some to fill in the gaps with some degree of accuracy, and it's all a bit spooky really, but nice to be acknowledged by the good people on here.  |

Big family party tomorrow, and my Australian daughter arrived yesterday. I baked my legendary American Cheese Cake earlier, with a sponge base (none of the smashed up digestives) and with sultanas soaked in Jack Daniels, and will be topped with Caramelised Bananas and Maple Syrup. |

By all means, Foinavon.Strangely enough I had a custart tart in Morrison's cafe this week, my first for 40 years I would guess, seeing as they use free range eggs in all restaurant products and they were only 50p.
