Has 'The Prisoner' been mentioned?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=om8Xwa3MhaU I don't think it tops Van Der Valk though which is the best imo. Also, 'Hill Street Blues' another classic http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puc0_MsqRZA |

Most of what I'd suggest has already been mentioned.
Twin Peaks is a clear winner for me. Also would have brought up Ski Sunday and Dogtanian. I feel that Mysterious Cities of Gold deserves a mention. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJ6qZ83CMj4 |

1. Sleepy Shores. Theme to Owen M.D.
2. To The Unknown Man. Old theme to BBC Snooker by Vangelis. 3. Morse. Barrington Pheloung. |
|
By:
just checked through the whole lot above and the BEST one is missing : it's the theme to the drippy 1980's series A Very Peculiar Practice.
I'm obsessed by this song - it has no existence, as far as I can tell, away from the tv prog. despite being by two big name performers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTticYbgWyU |
