Interesting item on the BBC website as regards Murrays possible route to Wimbledon glory :-

Murray's possible route

•R1: Nikolay Davydenko
•R2: Ivo Karlovic
•R3: Kevin Anderson
•R4: Richard Gasquet
•Q/F: David Ferrer
•S/F: Rafael Nadal
•Final: Novak Djokovic

I would suggest this may be a more accurate route

Surely nothing can stand in the Scotsman way this time. He has everything in his favour. If he fails to win now, he may as well retire.

WIMBELDON FIXED FOR MURRAY TO WIN

Ivo Karlovic questioned the integrity of Wimbledon after he was foot-faulted 11 times in his second-round defeat by Britain's Andy Murray.
The Croat, who lost in four sets, accused officials of favouring the home player and said he felt "cheated".
Use accessible player and disable flyout menus

"It was outrageous, outrageous," he said. "It's Wimbledon, Centre Court, and they do this. The whole credibility of this tournament went down for me."

When asked what was the difference between the two players, he replied: "Foot faults. I don't know what to say, but it was a little bit outrageous.
"In my whole life, ever since I was eight years old, my whole life I didn't do this many foot faults. It was like 11.

“People [in the locker room] who were watching have said this is unbelievable. Of course, because they know me and I don’t do that.”
Karlovic claimed there was only one official who repeatedly called him; until he made a complaint to the chair umpire whereupon her colleague supported her with foot-fault calls at the other end.

“It was always the same line judge,” he said. “Which is weird because normally they change after one hour or I don’t know. But that woman was there almost the whole match.
“And then it was always her calling and I was like how come I only do it from here and not the other side? And then, next game, the other one called. So I was like why did I say anything?”

EVEN THE BBC IN ON IT

“I was looking at the tape and what is weird is that there was only one replay, only one, and I didn’t do [a fault],” he said. “I was like an inch away from the line and after that they didn’t do again the slow-motion close-up at all. So that was a little bit weird for me.”
Karlovic believes it to be a “strange” coincidence that decisions favouring Murray should have come so often on British soil

Lendl would put to bed a lot of his own demons if he can guide Murray to the Wimbledon title that evaded Ivan in 86 and 87.

A lot of warmth from the crowd this year so far, unlike the bedwetting chronic Sister****s on chit chat.

They know that the Mighty Muzz has a chip and a chair for this one.
