Words fail me. If someone is going to harm a cat they are going to do it anyway. And 'the old monkey see monkey do adage' applies to about 0.0000000000000000001 % of the population. Nothing should be banned on the basis that a small minority of individuals don't have the brain cells the rest of us do. I have never harmed a cat and the point of the thread was to ask why it is legal to kill rats and not cats. No-one has yet answered me and I am still none the wiser. Both carry disease and are dangerous to humans, and both as fare as I am concerned, are vermin.
