Cheers Pokermonster, sorry couldnt be here from the start. wouldve enjoyed playing this all the way through. Great work again though |
By:
I think so Charlie, but we'll just give it a couple of minutes in case anyone wishes to declare a better hand.
Tev has been very unlucky not to win tonight. I feel Toby has just pipped him. |
By:
Well done Tobes. Good quiz PM.
By:
I won? :)
Seems a bit unfair as i only scored on 4 and only knew about 7 out of 30 or so i was here for :) ul all the Players who scored more cards than me ty Poker ,excellent Quiz format and very good questions throughout, maybe next time keep the 2 Jokers til 53 + 54 , or start and end with them? |
By:
Tevez the moral winner , got some very hard Qs right about 8 of them , v ul

TOBERMORY DECLARED THE WINNER!
Well played Toby. You have won a prize sir. :) My email address is ruperman@ruperman.com If you would like to send me your contact address, I will send you the prize in the post. |
By:
Many thanks PM, I really enjoyed that, got far more points than I expected (or deserved), will make a note to keep a track of my best options next time
vwd tobes, lucky for me you werent there earlier :) |
By:
There are many tactics at play in this quiz if you keep your wits about you: making sure your opponents' valuable cards are matched to their least favoured subjects etc.
By:
Sorry Tev. :(
You were very unlucky indeed not to win this evening sir. |
By:
PRIZE
The winner of this quiz will receive an excellent computer game (suitable for PCs running Windows 2000 or later) as an early Christmas present. Dark Fall It's an adventure / puzzle thriller in the mould of 7th Guest or Myst, only much better. The sound, graphics and general atmosphere are all superb and it's very addictive. Best played with the lights off on a big screen. |
By:
Are you still here Toby?
By:
the most abundant element in the body is surely hydrogen, because there are twice as many hydrogen atoms as there are oxygen atoms. In terms of mass though, it is clearly oxygen. Carbon nowhere near.
Great quiz poker, thanks a lot mate. And well done to whoever won, I still don't know who it is. |
By:
Thanks Rob.
Toby has won despite a valiant effort from Tev. I hope Toby looks back in to see if he would like his prize. :) |
By:
Not too good at Computer Games tbh :D , and pc barely functions any more :(
If any of the other players are enthusiasts they could hvae the prize (as i was rather fortunate to win) if they wish , i won't be on here much til next week but i've noted your email if no one else claims it. |
By:
Thanks Toby. :)
The game would make a nice Christmas present for somebody. Or I could always save it until The Chit Chat Caesars Palace Quiz III if you prefer? |
By:
give it as a prize for friday nights quiz?
By:
I'd say save it for the next poker style midweek quiz.
(...just because I'm out on friday admittedly) |
By:
That's fine with me BJK if that's what Toby wishes.
As he says, it would be nice if the prize went to someone who actually likes to play computer games! :) |
By:
And, to be fair, this game isn't suitable for youngsters. You couldn't really give it to a kid as a Christmas present.
By:
I'm not a youngster :) , though maybe a Quiz for games players (about Computer Games? ) would be an appropriate competiton for it? . I would definitely score 0 there.
By:
I didn't mean you Toby. :)
I meant it's not really suitable to give to a nephew, kid brother etc. |
By:
Quiz about Computer games might be too niche... but what about a quiz on 'Art and literature' in general.
Computer games surely fall under that category (slightly). ? |
By:
Although, after playing this game, even you might have to sleep with the hall light on.
By:
What about a quiz on history?
That might throw up a winner who likes playing sinister computer games. |
By:
numbers quiz IMO
By:
then Andy might win :D
By:
Numbers quiz sounds good.
By:
Yep. No problem to do a numbers quiz; done loads of them.
By:
I wonder if they ever look in on these quizzes at Betfair Towers?
I have visions of them saying something like: "You'll never believe this John, some sad git has only gone and spent four bloody hours asking questions on the Chit Chat forum! And he's got one and a half thousand replies!" |
By:
yep i like numbers quizzes
By:
Left late, but just want to say Thanks PM for your efforts tonight.
Great Quiz, well done Tobes, Tev and all. |
By:
Thanks Poker..
Excellently thought out and superbly run. :) |
