I check this site out every week or two. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/factual/desertislanddiscs_20051106.shtml You can look at the favourite music ofall the people listed on the right. If I see something interesting I download the piece. I have found a lot of great music this way that I would probably have missed. |

Hello Tambers.
As you know, I'm computer illiterate. I was going to take part in the RSPB Bird Watch today, but decided against it when they wanted my name and address on the site. I don't want to get 'bugged' by anything, so I never look at music sites as I know you can pick up viruses from them. Not only that, I have no idea of how to 'download' music - or most other things to do with pcs. I'm quite happy just using it for betting purposes, having a laugh and gaining knowledge about things - eg finding sites related to things I want to know more about. I know I could probably gain by knowing a lot more about computers - but I really can't be bothered with them. |

So Tambers, as I've been promising you my e-mail address for over 6 months now, and I'm never going to get around to setting up an account with a fictitious name, if you want to get in touch, you'll have to set up a 'disposable' one, that I saw you speak to TGM about quite recently, so I can pass on mine.
Then, you would be able to pass mine on to TGM, if you would, as I would also trust him to have my correct name and e-mail address. |
|

Hello Tam.
No problem with that at all Tommy. |
|
By:
Hello AITL - I think it's about time we exchanged e-mails on a personal basis.
I'd trust you with my life. I'm a great judge of character. |

Glad Rag Doll by Johnny Ray is an old 78 r.p.m. favourite of mine that my dad used to own.
I've got Kazaa Lite (ad and spyware free) but it's not on there. |

When I get a mate they generally become mates for life, Tommy.
I don't have many friends really, they tend to drift in and out of life like a bad cold, those that stayed the course became great mates, but it was a hard race at times. |
|
By:
TGM - I also make 'mates for life'.
I have lots of friends, and I'm surprised how some of them track me down to stay in touch even when I haven't seen them for years. It's very good though, when they do. I knew you and I would become 'mates' after the first few times we spoke to each other, as I knew with other forumites on here too. Tambers being one of them. |

Tambers, I hope you've seen the messages on here earlier.

Why Can't We Be Friends? - War
If you type the title and then put '- Song' after it, Google brings up the Amazon site where you can listen to a snippet of the song. I haven't heard it for years, but it's very good, in my view. |
