No, I am going to smoke one soon because my need has overcome the mild nausea.
Report ReaseHeath • January 10, 2010 7:19 PM GMT
good man, flatliner - had more than my fair share of horror hangovers and drink very little these days - can't say I miss it either. Cut out the sweets and chocs and bread at least until end Jan - then will get on scales and review.

I only drank 10 tins last night, my first in a week, I'm cutting back to Fridays and Saturdays only, Sundays are now dry.

7 days with no drink or cigs , trying to stay off drink for january at least , and the cigs for good. i would be a heavy drinking, so i need to really cut back on it or stop all together , before there is no turning back.

You need to have an aim. You can beat it. But you need to have something better. eg, children.
Report Ibrahima Sonko • January 10, 2010 11:23 PM GMT
Good luck people.
Report Ovalman. • January 11, 2010 8:10 AM GMT
Cheers Sonko, I must admit I got pangs about 8pm last night to finish the beer I had in the fridge but I held strong. I took a few mags to bed and read them, it was easier than I thought.

A consultant on the radio said that if you take a month off booze your liver will recover.
So if you've got to ten days, you might as go a month before you start again.
