ok big charlie, thanks for listening though, will try yours
Anyone who attempts "Summertime" is ok by me, yorky, and it sounds pretty good.
However, listen to this version of the same song by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.
Possibly the most sublime recording ever.

You haven't heard me play it on a guitar, you may change your mind

I`m not really a big fan of Blues . Jules Holland and his band put me off because they used to join in with the groups on his programme and make all the songs sound the same!
good blues is brilliant. leadbelly, howlin wolf, j l hooker etc. the b.oll.ox imo.
cheers yorky, listen to that regularly when I want to chill.
Only need to bother about one.............. John Lee Hooker.
Muddy Waters,Elmore James,Howling Wolf,T-Bone Walker,Willie Dixon,Little Walter,Jimmy Reed,Sonny Boy Williamson,Koko Taylor, Proffessor Longhair,and Buddy Guy all worth digging out.
