I have started a new business and need to take on some extra work to supplement my income whilst the business gets established and have considered being a courier. I only have a car (an old BMW 5 series estate) but can anyone give me any advice as to how I go about getting work, what insurances I will need to get etc?
Any help greatly appreciated....

did you subscribe to any of the courier exchange portals?

You need a van.......courier companies cannot insure goods in car...

Some companies will give you a van to use...

stevie p has it about right. Couple of people I knew that were making decent money at it 3 or 4 years ago have gone under. I think within the courier sphere, the ilegal internal carriage of hard drugs is the only growth industry.

He gave it a good try in 1993. Pete was just too good.
