Strange but true, most smokers that I know don't get asthma, and rarely get colds or chest infections.

Shouldn't make jokes about asthma but it's a good wheeze.

I've been OK recently. Was hospitalised with an asthma attack about 10 years ago when I smoked.

Now I hardly have to use my inhaler but still take it everywhere.

What's your peak flow fallon?
Report Brodie • January 7, 2010 12:48 PM GMT
If you've got a pain in the chest ,you may have a chest infection which is dangerous for an asthmatic.
Does it hurt when you breathe?

Strange how it effects some and not others - the cold doesn't make any difference, but I do work outside (and as long as I take the inhalers it hardly doesn't bother me at all). Peak flow about 550 I think.

You used to be able to get Potter's Asthma Cigarettes.

I don't think they make them any more.
