I wasn`t happy with the service myself

I am glad you posted that. There is a quad core selling in Aldi tomorrow for £349, which I thought was a bargain as it also included 3 years warranty. However, even though it is much cheaper than Dell I think I will wait for the prices to go down, as I want to get the next day three year warranty from Dell as I do not want any hassle. I was in two minds about it, so thanks for making up my mind.

annie as far as I'm concerned there is not much difference between the various manufacturers these days it is the service when there is a problem you want.

I used to be with Tiscali (provider) and there service bordered on a joke - calls put down - hanging on for 30 mins a time.

Now with BT and Dell laptop best combination I have ever had.

Thats exactly it, howdi. I use my computer everyday for several hours, so it is important to me to have it repaired quickly. My bets will not wait!

Dell customer service is a joke. Ended up getting £1200 worth of kit for nothing as their customer service people could not answer my question (incomplete order). Took 3 months a million phone calls, but they lost in the end. Stupidly I bought a lap top from them three years later....kept on sending the wrong router, eventually ended up getting money back for that as well. Shocking bunch of wosits. Never use them again. That said, they are all the same, take your money and then you can f off.

It was a problem of the language for me.having to constantly repeat myself and spell out simple words was a nightmare and very frustrating.Apart from that it was a good service
