I didn't know you types were big on immigrants?

If people actually showed a bit of community spirit and did the pavements in front of their houses then we'd have less of a problem.

When I was a kid, 1962 was a bad winter in London, I used to dig up the snow from our house to the road. Then next door gave me two bob (10p) to do his path.

By the end of the week me and my mate had done most of the surrounding streets, and we were like milly-un- airs.

I had a customer that had informed me they expect to earn aboout 8k this winter even if there was no snow, just for being "on call". Thats extra, heck know how much extra they will earn now they actually hae to do some work on top. Still the money all filters through the system.

Son in law runs a transport office for his local council. He loves this weather, he goes out in the gritting lorry and earns a facking fortune.
