Agree, eboue, I am not keen at all on Piers Morgan. However, I have taped it because I have started playing poker and I love it. I would appreciate it if anyone sees it to post their rating of it as I would not want to waste my time on rubbish. As it is I tape films, watch the first 30 mins to give it a chance and then delete, but that is a lot of wasted time.

room prices through the floor in vegas at the moment

3 nights at the Tropicana at end of Jan is $99 ($33 a night)

Report Dunkley • January 2, 2010 8:43 PM GMT
How can you lose $19 billion really surely people will be after you!
Report bigH • January 2, 2010 8:45 PM GMT
depends on what you want, location, service, shows, entertainment, gambling, nightlife.

I think Bellagio's is hard to beat
Report Tevez is God • January 2, 2010 8:55 PM GMT
thinking of going at the end of this year - want good service and location for other venues, not too worried about price - would prefer a personal recommendation though as all the brochures spout the same bs
Report cunnybobbler • January 2, 2010 8:57 PM GMT
that house looked a bargain, 550k. if it was dollars then even better.

Bellagio's definitely ticks the box for location, service, gambling, nightlife, entertainment. Bars & restaurants are also excellent.

Location is very central so easy to get to shows, entertainment etc in other hotels.

I've been to Vegas twice in the last 18 months - the first time, to see my mate get married in the same chapel where Morgan "wed" Paris!

A few lads from work are going to Vegas in March, but I can't make it then. However, I want to go later this year.

Everyone should go to Vegas once a year. It truly is one of the greatest places on earth.
Report punkha1 • January 2, 2010 10:40 PM GMT
Maybe stupid question but can you have a family holiday here?
Always wanted to go but would need to fit it in to the kiddies holiday plans.
Report Bish Bosher • January 2, 2010 10:48 PM GMT
Yes Punkha but kids not allowed anywhere near gaming tables fruit machines etc
Report The Leopard • January 2, 2010 10:50 PM GMT
Too many evil people there....surely...
Report Bish Bosher • January 2, 2010 10:53 PM GMT
been twice;never seen a pickin of bother(not with kids admittedly) would have more concerns to taking my daughter to Butlins than Vegas
Report punkha1 • January 2, 2010 11:05 PM GMT
Cheers guys but would there be plenty for the kids to do during the day so that me & the missus could leave them with their granny and head out at night without feeling guilty?
While id love to go dont wanna bring them on my holiday where they'll be bored to tears.
Report Bish Bosher • January 2, 2010 11:09 PM GMT
Go to Excaliber or Circus Circus; impossible to get bored
Report Ovalman. • January 2, 2010 11:24 PM GMT

Whats the climate like ? Heard it gets pretty cool at night and didnt it snow a fair bit a few months ago !
Report Max and Paddy • January 3, 2010 12:38 AM GMT
I went at the start of May in 2008 and 2009, and that was great: it was very warm during the day, but not too hot (I believe it gets well above 40C during the summer) and it's very mild in the evening.

I know a couple of people who went at the start of December, and they said it was very cool then.

Personally, I wouldn't go between November and February, and then June and August. But that leaves plenty of time to go :)

I'm glad there is some one alse that dosn't like peirs morgan as well as me.Why have people got such short memories.

I was out there this time last year, temperature was fine, nice and warm,
got a bit chilly in the evenings and just needed a jumper or a jacket.
But a month before we went they actually had a few days of snow in Vegas !

Wouldn't go in the Summer too hot, friends went and they said it was far too hot
you get out of the swimming pool and 10 mins later you are sweating again !

Not really a fan of Piers Morgan, too smug, he's got a face you want to punch !
But that programme was very interesting last night. Another one tonight, Elvis In Vegas.
