cheers for askin hearts, no i havent mate, we last spoke to him two weeks ago today he told us he was goin on those patrols for the next 2 weeks , we asked him where and he told us he couldnt tell us and that he probably woulnt be speaking to us for the next 2 weeks which ends today, so hoping to hear from him anytime now , cant wait to speak to him its killing us, still no news is good news as they say, ps another lad from his regiment was killed about 2 days back really bad news

Very stupid move by Islam4UK, there are plenty of anti-War marches attended by people of all races & faiths. By arranging their own one it just perpetuates a "them against us" feeling. Perhaps that's what they want.

I'm against the War(s) but I have maximum respect for soldiers and the job they do. My cousin has been to both Afghanistan and Iraq; he says he is against the war as are many of the soldiers but they are professionals and they just get on with their job. It is not a soldier's job to decide which wars are just/unjust, once he signs up he goes wherever he is told to and these idiots at Islam4UK should be marching on Parliament instead.

hearts i must admit though it as got slightly easier this past 2 weeks , its only when you hear of another fatality that it hits home , i am not just jumping on the bandwagon now my lads over there, iam 52 yrs old nearly and was always brought up to respect wrong and right and did the same with my kids as my parents did with me , but i have always respected our armed forces, even as a young lad i would go with my dad to the november cenotaph to pay my respects and still do so to this day top respect to anyone who puts their live on the line i cant praise em enough
