Propaganda in the United Kingdom

Is the foxy blonde one still doing back up vocals?

The first cut won't hurt at all
The second only makes you wonder
The third will have you on your knees

Saw the Glaswegian rhythm section of Propaganda in concert three nights ago.
derek Forbes and Brian McGee (who were in Simple Minds before spending the late eighties/early 90s in Propaganda)

They were playing the Classic Grand in Glasgow, with Owen Paul on vocals.
Good gig and still great musivians.. but Owen Paul looks terrible these days.

You start bleeding I start screaming

Claudia Brucken well tasty

they had more songs than 'Duel' ffs
This was a great tune. (Great Forbes bassline)

never look back

She divorced from Paul Morley and is now married to Paul Humphreys from OMD.

Yes Journey, all the songs on A Secret Wish are good. I still have the remix album as well. The second album with the English lead singer is also pretty good.

Betsi Miller. :)

A pretty lass but... they lost their 'edge' without claudia.
Taken on its own terms the second record is a decent chilled record

Selling your soul, selling your soul.........

I'm just looking at some of their other videos now. I didn't know that Wound In My Heart got to no.1 in Argentina in 1991.

^ Thought I might find you on here, Anubis ;)

Yes,I bet the OP didn't expect his thread to turn into the Propaganda appreciation society.

I love this 'mabuse' german TV performance.

The flames and the kettle drums and Claudia looking sh1t hot.

Great days. :)

hopeless at links

but the "sex on legs" performance is the one on The Tube when they do the windmill dance.

they then follow it with a stunning version of "Duel"

there you go.
Top performance indeed, and Forbes bass with tons of phase just like in his 'New Gold Dream' days.

I'm watching one where they use a wheelbarrow and a bath as drums.

I see. I'm the designated link b1tch on this thread, everyone else just puts in descriptions :p
I'll go try find the baths if you want..ffs.

Here's a performance of P Machinery I like with loads of hexagons and intense things.

Don't know how to do links Journey. The title is Dr Mabuse (Version 2) DVDRip SVCD.

i think the uk government should put tanks around heathrow to save us from the dark hordes.
wait.
sorry, they did that ages ago.

Ah got it. thanks.

That must have been filmed just before Derek Forbes joined on bass.
Suzanne doing an uncomfortable job of pretending to be a bass player there lol.

Such a pity Paul Morley messed everything up..
ah well when they were good they were verey very good.
