had the swine flu last year, it wasnt as bad as other flus ive had in the past. hope you feel better soon.
I've had a shiitty cold.. on the mend now but it was fecking horrible.. wheezy chest, snot everywhere :(
had flu for what seems forever, day 12 now and no sign of getting any better. im sleeping about 18 hours a day. really fed up with it. :(
Same here, paulie. It is amazing how different colds can be. I have never had a cold with a wheezy chest before. I can cope okay during the day, but the nights have been horrible.
Hope people suffering clear up soon,not nice drains you.

yea I know, people don't understand flu
once I had what was probably 'flu, I was stuck in my bed, I live alone so no-one knew I had it, not that it really matter cos am a young guy
but I couldn't go down the stairs to ring the work to say that I couldn't make it
was able to make it down the next day to phone
but when I went back to work, the manager put an AWOL report in my file....unbelievable
but I was young then, but if the work did that again, i would decline signing the report

and yes she did ask "have you not got a mobile?"
I said, yes but it wasn't in my bedroom, that excuse wasn't acceptable.
I don't have a mobile now since I lost it last month, won't be in a hurry to buy a new one, only used it to arrange nights out in emergency

As i said have got flu, achy legs, sore throat, hot and cold, lack of appetite. :p
I had a flu on my kitchen boiler once. That was hell.
