The deadline for submitting 48 questions has been extended to MIDNIGHT of 28th DECEMBER 2009. This is the FINAL deadline.
Any quizzers who have not submitted questions by that date will be deemed non-qualifiers and not be invited to take part at any stage next season. After the due date the admin team will get together to see who are the qualifiers and a formal announcement will be made on the forum on 1st JANUARY 2010 as to which player is in which league. |

Tevez a couple of weeks extra isn't really having the pi$$ taken given the fact that if we didn't extend it we would only have enough players for one division ! Also a lot of quizzers are nearly there and maybe taking longer than expected not cos of laziness but because they want to submit some really good questions. Also given it is the first time we have asked quizzers to all contribute, and given we have 15 quizzers who still haven't confirmed their position, we thought it the right thing to do.
But this next deadline really is it. No questions by 28th = no participation. |

Yes it would. Good point. Although there could just as easily be three smaller leagues with either everyone playing each other say, three times (home, away, neutral) and/or more cup competitions?

We have to wait + see what position is at the Turn of the Year , after Deadline has passed.
We cannot extend it further as the Actual Playing has to be set up + with who in which League , the fixtures (format if neccy) and questions checked, editted where neccy , and added to new Questions LIbraries with the various Acesses denied + allowed to ensure integrity for all. Before the first ball for the New Season is kicked .. .Sooner we know the position the better for all. 14 of last season's Have not even posted a Yes or No yet ,after a month of asking . |

32 players have so far confirmed that'll definitely be taking part.
So I'm fairly confident that we'll be able to have a minimum of 3 x Leagues of 12. All depends how many of those that confirmed send in the questions, how many more confirmations and questions we get, and how many new players wish to join. Time will tell. |

Yes, be good if they told us one way or another. They've had almost a month to think about about it, so it's surprising there's been no response.
Whatever they decide, a League of 36 players would be fine and we're very close to that number already. |

I've just had a quick flick through the last pages.
The length of the thread is off-putting to trawl through. Would like to play, but it's the busiest few weeks of the year, for non-Betfair activities. Barely at the computer, never mind Betfair, (....never mind the Forum, never mind Chit-Chat, never mind Quizzing) A week into the New Year, no doubt, I'll be sat here twiddling my thumbs, but the deadline will have passed by then Shame (plus the Forum is like treacle at the moment) Seasons Greetings |
