The worse thing in life is a breakdown of love, happen to my stepmum and dad (they were married for 20 years and then lost the love, didn't do enough together (wasn't nice to see!!) - Drifted apart.
That is why i say important to do more with your partner (says me on my own!!).

I know how it feels that is why i said that. I am only here to help, i am sure he will be fine in time, the important thing is not to mess with his head and give him hope, stay strong if you want to go your own ways. You are both adults.

Friend of mine from school flung himself off a bridge when his gf chucked him, broke almost every bone in his body but survived.

He had to move, such was the shame.

Addictive personality means I no longer bet Larrence.

Remember being in the bookies when I was 12 with my brother, and an older friend of his warning him to keep me out as it would lead to problems. How right he was :)

To answer the OP's question......

You are much better off alone than with someone with whom things are destructive, no matter how powerful their ability to induce wonderful highs when things are good.

No matter how good the highs are, the lows are the things which will stay with you...:)

Fair play m8, as long as you are happy in your life, thats all that matters, for some betting is everything which it is not.
