Lisa-Can you see that this COULD happen then?
1/ The players choose their boxes at Random, as you have described. 2/ Someone at DOND already knows, obviously, what is in each box but not INITIALLY who has got each box. 3/ He/She then chooses their daily contestant accordingly. ? |

I learned that United will be Leeds in the FA Cup Gene.
Is that what you expect froma learning experience? Umm, look my meal is nearly ready and I'm going soon but in a sentence. The show teaches value. (And if you think that's a given for people on a gaming site, read every forum on here and you'll see exactly the opposite applies.) |

Lisa, you said earlier it was "frustrating" but surely I have covered a scenario that is eminently possible.
Do you agree that the 3 stages I listed are plausible, though we will never know, as they can hardly admit it! |

If a large group of players were to collude and agree to share all the winnings and then play all the way to the end without accepting the banker's poor value offers, they would be much better off, but it's probably against the rules and the producers would probably withhold the winnings if they found out.

Hull 31 Dec 18:07
Actual statistics for all series (5) Amount in contestant boxes £29,173,365.95 Total amount highest bankers offers £32,288,592.36 Total amount contestants won £18,775,664.33 if you look at the fact the banker's offers have far exceeded the actual amount won then it's hardly a** |

It's possible Spirit. But only in the same way as George Bush masterminding the 9/11 attack is possible.
Would I lay either possibility? With my whole bank I would. |

Jack has the right tack.
It would be an interesting case if 22 contestants got together and decided to play to the end - with the agreement in place that they would share out the total winnings. I don't think they could be accused of acting illegally as per the Millionaire couple, but have Endemol got it covered in their own rules and regs? |

Quick one b4 I go out.
Who remembers an early Goldenballs episode when one of the 2 blokes ADMITTED he was going to steal b4 the final "Split or Steal" and left the other guy dumbfounded?:) |

By:
No-one it seems..:)

Goldenballs didn't have the same elements as DOND for me. Simple game theory says that in every show, every contestant playing the game to its max, will walk away with nothing.

That's me done for 2009.
