Ain't it nice how dwarves get lots of film work?

heightist

Peter Kay is a equal opportunities employer thats for sure ;\

Never been the same since the heady days of 1988 when 'Willow' was filmed.

the dwarf film unions were fuming when Tim Burton only used one dwarf and fancy camerawork in his recreation of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

Willow and The Adventures of Baron Munchausen both. Great times for dwarves. Danny de Vito must have been wishing he was shorter.

the wizard of oz is a shocking omissionsome still alive

You're not trying to tell us that all those munchkins were dwarves, are you? Surely some camera trickery?

122 dwarves were hired as munchkins

well technically they were all midgets, not dwarves

Well, I just hope they got the full rate.

they found one in fred wests window box

He paid each Munchkin $50 to $75 a week. Singer hired only midgets because they were proportional like average-size people. Dwarfs have slight deformities, making them less adept at dancing and moving about fluidly.

where do elves stand here ?
