Poor woman now fighting for her life after complications from a brain Operation a few days ago.

Can't be a God if this is how he treats the decent ones.

my thoughts are with her and her family

I heard it on my local news at 2pm, maybe its only breaking now.

She certainly doesn't deserve this.

This is one of two stories i couldn't believe made the main bulletin on the radio today. The other being that a bloke who was supposed to go to Afghanistan soon had gone AWOL. ffs. Did nothing happen today?

It's very sad that after all sara has been through that she is now very seriously ill. The effort that she's put in since sarah was murdered has been heroic, profiling many campaigns, including 'sarah's law' similar to USA's 'amber alert' that aims to find missing kids at very short notice, all over the country. She didn't have to do it, as she could quite easily have faded into the background, but she did it, and held her own against politicians or whoever. Good on you girl, and keep fighting.

It's almost as sad when the likes of liveforever (lucky you, considering the thread), p4s and bpp post such comments. Did you have a daughter that was murdered, have you fought a national campaign, have you debated and held your own against politicians on tv, and are you very seriously ill at 40?

Thought not, but that obviouly doesn't not mean a lot to you, but it does to me and probably many others, especially at christmas.

My heart goes out to her and all her family and friends.

And any IMBECILE on here who think they are clever, obviously have not had the experience or good fortune of bringing up a child.

Happy Xmas

Sarah Payne is a well meaning woman who has been used by the News of the World to front their campaign for Sarah's law which is a charter for vigilantes.

Then Gordon Brown jumped on the bandwagon of popular culture and appointed her to a meaningless New Labour post of "Victims Champion"

Jack Straw is now joining in " Justice Secretary Jack Straw said: "Our thoughts are with Sara and her family."

Do you really think any politician gives a damm about anyone bar themself?
Report gleddoch • December 24, 2009 8:32 PM GMT
this thread was started in respect of sara, and 'hi-jacked' by various 'unknowns'. I hope christmas will not be ruined too much for those imbeciles,( too good a word for them), when they re-read their comments on here and reflect on their vitriol, or (sick) opinions that they've made. I dont have a god bone, or otherwise, in my body so i can only say let's hope she continues to battle and gets through it. And as for Clarky9, ta-ta u sicko.

Seems to me that several strands to a story are being intertwined here, to the credit of very few.
I feel very sorry for her and her family on a personal level, and wish her well.
I won't be praying because I'm not supersticious.
Should she have been given any position by the Government? Not in my opinion; the law shouldn't be personalised in such a manner.
As for Clarky - evidence of the apparent guilt? Or are you like one of the stiffs on Deal or No Deal - " I have a feeling..."

i must admit i usually agree with liveforevers acidic comments about the dross on here

but thats bang out of order. the woman has never done owt wrong and has fought for changes in legislation out of her own time since her daughter was murdered...

i thnk you should be slightly ashamed at yourself to be truthful for that comment. and you did what you meant to, you got the attention on yourself. congratulations

Guilty of What?
Report positively4thsteet • December 25, 2009 8:21 AM GMT
I presume he was sh.it stirring.

Regards my comment earlier on the thread - I was very surprised that the story made the main bulletin, that's all. I wasn't just trying to be controversial for the sake of it. Having read through the thread it would seem she had got majorly involved in legal matters and debates and what have you so she was more famous than I had given her credit for. Sad news either way.
Report inatimate1 • December 25, 2009 8:25 AM GMT
I can only suggest Robbie, that he may have possibly mixed her up with the mother of Madeline McCann, who quite a few people (including a few on the good olde Chit Chat forum) were suggesting might have been a guilty party for her actions after the disappearance of her daughter in Portugal.

If this is not the case then I cannot see any reasoning behind his comment. Sara fought like hell for her daughter, the guilty party has been found, and she has done everything to get some form of justice for the loss of her daughters life, and to protect the lives of other peoples children at the same time. Which is why she has been well documented and supported by the media & government
