My favourite band of all time. The concert I booked was postponed until Feb next year when Dave was ill. 'Never Let me down again' is always a stormer live. Wave those arms in the air! :-)

I went to the NEC on sunday to see them and they were fantastic, enjoy

By:
guess you just can't get enough of this band
By:
You'd better set off now or else you'll enjoy the silence

Not the same since Alan Wilder left. Basically just a cabaret band now.
Albeit a cabaret band with some great 80s tunes. |

Shall i take glow stick?
By:
Glowstick is too cheesy but a lighter would be too serious.
Get the balance right. |

A great band. not many bands from the 80's can play stadiums and remain popular for over 30 years.
the band deserve more credit |
By:
Excellent band Depeche Mode. Enjoy it. Saw 'em @ Whitley Bay ice rink (considered an 'arena' venue back in the day) in 1986! I'm off to see Doves tonight.

The guy with the glasses doesn't actually play anything. He's not a musician!
Yet has managed to make a fortune for thirty years purely because he's the wee blonde guy's mate. Just waves his arms about, mimes and takes the mug cash. The last time they were anything approaching a real band was the Devotional tour of the early 90s. (Which was admittedly very good indeed) |
By:
Saw them 2 days ago in London.
Really good of course, but I could have wished for hearing Everything Counts. But cant complain, Depeche is value for money, everytime. |
By:
First saw them in 1982 and seen them every tour since. Went to Birmingham last Sunday and O2 on Tuesday.
QUALITY! |
By:
Seen them lots of times, they are quite superb live. It´s No Good is probably my favourite song by them but could pick any one of dozens, top band.

Very good show! :-)
We call it, Master & Servant...doo, doo, doo |

The grabbing hands grab all they can
hundreds of thousands of pounds a night for playing backing tapes of a bunch of songs from 1986 and 1987. With the exact same performance. Tonight Matthew I'm going to sing Stripped again for the 23000th time For that paycheck Dave, I don't blame you. Just make sure not to laugh at them till you get offstage. |

Journey-you card! :D

Arsene, I think we were meant to be together. Depeche Mode and the beautiful gunners Bonjour Buffy, Avez vous un joyeux Noel et Come On You Gunners! |

Journey - DM's sound is essentially Dave's voice (which still sounds pretty good live if you are up close enough to hear it) over layered keyboards. The DM live experience was never about elongated drum and guitar solo's. Admitedly it is more of a performance than a bunch of musicians playing together in the traditional sense, but surely that is the case with a lot of electronic based music.

10m germans cant be wrong
By:
I think vast numbers of germans have got 'previous' at being wrong Sir Denis. :(
By:
Their main trick these days is to get the audience to sing most of the songs. Don't blame them really lol.

is you saying depeche mode are racialist?
