I loved life on mars, especially gene hunt ( he can arrest me any time ),but ashes to ashes was nowhere near as good. I only watched the first couple of episodes and did not see anymore. I thought the female detective could not act and gene hunt's role had been neutered. As the previous poster said I would wait for the repeat.

Yes. I actually watched Ashes to Ashes first and followed it up with Life On Mars. Both are very good and very watchable.
