There may have been a few films on the telly I've not persevered with, but if I've paid for a cinema seat I stick it out to the end, no matter how bad it is.

One day I will fill myself up with black coffee and speed and superglue my eyelids open and attempt for about the 5th time to watch Lost In Translation all the way through without nodding off.

I doubt many know this film, but Princess Mononoke. Classic Anime from Studio Ghibli.

I must have tried to watch it about 5 or 6 times on dvd. I know the start with the monster coming from the woods and infecting the boy's arm, the middle in the forest with the funny little creatures. Also bits of the end. But can never remember where Princess Mononoke actually comes into the film, why there is a big wolf, or how the film ends.

MissP - I have seen bits of one of the more recent Star Wars jobs, but it was painful viewing. There was a thread recently commenting on the complete lack of range and the woeful delivery from Mr Ewan McGregor in most of his work, and I've a feeling it was you who wrote as much. I am in full agreement.
