Surely you can't "learn" these things, sure you may be able to change the way you go about them i guess but i don't think many shy individuals suddenly become unber confident swordsmen after reading a book.

Best lesson i learnt was as an 18yr old who did ok with birds but when i started clubbing etc found things a bit tricky.A mate's words "a man with a conscience in a club is a dead man" struck a chord. From one night i just "went for everything" and the roll on confience that creates it you and the birds also sense it really does work.

Sure i've had 1000's of knock backs but i've also had 100's of sh@gs so i'd say enjoy the knockbacks it's all part of the game.

on the other hand, i prefer shy women to the loud, over confident, 'oh im so gorgeous' type any day of the week.
There is a bigger percentage of women now who are actually becoming like men in respect of work, drinking, even the way they interact with each other, they just dont know their place!!
But seriously, if u lack confidence urself pick a lady whos similarly shy, well, thats if u can muster up a sentence between you...

plenty of women about who look great but have zero class. It's possible to be confident and assured without being loud and brash. Used to be called poise.

I reckon first impessions count, especially for women. I think it is a very small percentage of women who meet a man for the first time who if they don't find them physically attractive or at least intellectually challenging or interesting, or humouous, then the bloke is generally fighting a losing battle if he tries again! This isn't implying women lack the ability to reconsider, just that the instant dynamic is more important to them - lets face it most blokes take anything other than an initial "P!ss off mate, I'm not interested!" as a major positive!

I think it`s all in your DNA
DRD4 gene and all that?

You could always turn a negative into a positive, and look upon it as an endearing quality

These should help

Sadly if you're shy then you're shy for a reason more than likely because you're an ugly f*cker or have an abnormality of sorts. So it's a lose/lose situation really.

How man shy good-looking men do you see? And if there was one, you think the girl wouldn't be interested just because he was shy?
