Maybe a Samsung S2 external? Not sure about the availability in the UK though.

Are you after one on price?

I want to buy one for my son's netbook, I too will be interested. I post up any results I find later.

I have a couple of 500 Gig Maxtors and a couple of 500 Gig Seagates.
Never had a problem with any of them.
I bought a 1 Tbyte Seagate from Tesco last week for £69.

They are about the size of a largeish paper back book, no probs at all.

Can probably look at 1 terabyte in a unit that's no bigger than 6 inches square.
Report Shrew D • December 20, 2009 10:23 AM GMT
For £100 you should be looking at something like 1TB or 1.5Tb of storage. For something more portable, it'll be around 750GB for £100.

I've had a Packard Bell (still works), one made by Iomega (packed in - so wouldn't buy again on that basis) and now one by Buffalo (working fine).

The Kirkstone Pass would be pretty hard especially in these conditions.
