Fav Nina Simone song

She's my favourite female singer.

I'm afraid I'm one of those amateurs that just has one compilation of about 20 songs. But I thought she
did a superb version of "Here comes the sun" by George Harrison.

The best version of "Mr Bojangles" i've ever heard was by her too.

i recovered a black cat the week she died and it seemed only right to name her nina. turned out she was pregnant. named the black kittens billie and ella, and the black and white one cass.

anyway, before the muller lite ads p1ssed me off it would've been her version of ain't got no/i got life.

I've always loved Nina since I first heard her when I was a kid singing 'Ain't got no'.
It was one of the first records I ever bought.

Easter:

haven't hardly bought a cd or listened t anything knew in 8 years or so. Just think she has a cracking voice.

should play some of her tracks to those x-factor/talent show singers to show them what a real voice sounds like.
