She's my favourite female singer.
I'm afraid I'm one of those amateurs that just has one compilation of about 20 songs. But I thought she did a superb version of "Here comes the sun" by George Harrison. The best version of "Mr Bojangles" i've ever heard was by her too. |

favourite female singer but you only own a best of cd, pos? sounds like you're not a fan of wimmin singers!
i recovered a black cat the week she died and it seemed only right to name her nina. turned out she was pregnant. named the black kittens billie and ella, and the black and white one cass. anyway, before the muller lite ads p1ssed me off it would've been her version of ain't got no/i got life. |

I've always loved Nina since I first heard her when I was a kid singing 'Ain't got no'.
It was one of the first records I ever bought. The B side to it probably ended up getting even more plays: Do What You Gotta Do http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQDr2BaAV9Y |
