I've been resisting getting Sky or a Dreambox abroad and have put up with sourcing live tv streaming sites such as tvcatchup (through a proxy) and filmon and streaming them through a laptop to my tv. I'm now completely fed up of the buffering and inconsistency of service so I have two questions:
i) Are there any other decent quality tv streaming sites currently in existence?
and
ii) If not, is the quality of existing sites likely to improve in the near future?
Thank you for any sensible suggestions.

where abouts are you? Im in Malta and pleasingly the Sports COverage,e specially the Prem is immense. 99% of games are on live. The rest of the channels I dont need like Sky etc as anything that I want to watch like that I download from Rapidshare, eg 24, Dexter or whatever
I'm in the Med like yourself. The missus(!) wants live uk tv, must admit I'm trying to watch her Uncle Franny on Deal or No Deal and it's píssing me right off! The local telly is unwatchable apart from sport, which it currently covers very well until its local competitor gets all the Premiership and Serie A rights next season! ;-)
