Okay Clue 16. You get a bit more to work with.
Clue 16 - Something in the film is SILVER when it should be very obviously more valuable The something more valuable is RUBY. i think you'll get it from there. I am going out briefly. Hope you're home and dry by the time I'm back. |
|
By:
It's turkey.
|
|
By:
Oh and clue 18.
The soundtrack in question is one of the biggest selling of all time. ;) |
|
By:

Is it a Wizard Of Oz parody with Pink Floyds Dark Side Of The Moon |

I know it (and have since watched it) but I don't want to end Journeymans power trip.
|
|
By:
The movie has enjoyed a second life on the internet. A copy of the film synched to Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" has made the rounds of internet video sites.
Not Yet. Leave it for JourneyMan to do it i think. |

you've watched it?? why??

Illmatic 14 Dec 15:10
you've watched it?? why?? --------- To see if it was really as crap as it sounded on here. All this balls about 'great cast', 'great soundtrack' was way off the mark! |
|
By:
Maybe he meant the original
|
|
By:
its on youtube in 9 parts if you feel the need
|
|
By:
Well come on then guess it! It's part of the instructional title !
|
|
By:
Well done Illmatic and Niceone.
You share the credit i think as Niceone1 made the crucial breakthrough. In the best part of a month, nobody else thought to ask if it had a foreign language title. [b]Ayşecik ve Sihirli Cüceler Rüyalar |

By:
That kept me entertained for about 120 hours! I can get to sleep now.
Early on i thought it was foreign. And had a Pink Floyd soundtrack. But i just could not make the connection. The films looks like it is that bad that it is good. |
|
By:
It is very trippy to watch, but the Pink Floyd version has a strange kind of beauty.
Well done again for persisting. Just as well as I was running out of screencaps... 1st place (equal) -Niceone / Illmatic 3rd place (benefit of the doubt) Shrew D aka Fozzie bear |

i`ll be honest ive never felt so disappointed in my life!
JM you thought we would get that! its a turkish title and everything about it is turkish FFS :^0 Girls name in it! shirley but its spelled all wrong and isnt shirley :^0 im amazed you havent been lynched |
|
By:
Come on now, I'm sure you've had greater disappointments Blckjacking ;)
I did think that the forum would get it a little quicker but all that was needed was a bit of outside the box thinking. Yes it's World Cinema but it's quite well known in cult film circles (along with the Turkish Star Wars). You know yourself from your quiz that the forum is supposed to be quite good at films. It just needed some fresh/lateral thinking to solve it. Once Nice1 worked out the angle it was always going to be a matter of time before it was solved really. |

Cult Films are almost invariably rubbish.
I was a bit annoyed as i thought of Pepsi & Shirley for the Pop Music Q but would never have helped me as never heard of this Film . 'Well Known in Turkey' is not the same as 'Well Known' imo. |
