had enough of gambling no bookies near me and spend all my spare time on betfair, have lost £1500 since i came on here so not too bad really but have a 9 month old son and sometimes he bothers me when tring to have a gamble (great start to fatherhood) so am banning myself for 6 months until world cup.
2 questions
1 how do i ban myself ?
2 can i still come on forum ?

goto my account, then my profile, then edit limits or self exclude
no you'll be banned from the forum too

You could just ring up and lower your exposure limit to something miniscule?

If you self exclude, you will not be able to log in. Therefore you will not be able to read the forum, no.

If you set your deposit limits to a tenner or something, it may help. It takes 7 days for any increase in the limit to come into effect. Which gives you time to cool down if you have an impulse or anything ;)

but even if you only have small stakes, you will still be distracted by your baby vying for attention... he deserves better imo, self exclude yourself totally, you will rediscover normal life away from... The Forum
