Yesterday I had the great misfortune to have to use Public Transport in a big city .. I caught a tran into the City centre , very pleasant and clean .. Then I caught a local bus out to my destination in the suburbs ... Oh My GAWD !!.. 7x Youths aged around 15/16 swearing , spitting, throwing stuff at peoples heads , sticking stickers on the backs of peoples clothes , trying to delve into their shopping and bags ,swinging from the wrist straps down the bus like monkeys ... They kept sitting next to anyone in a single seat and getting the seat behind if they could ... when my "next to me" bus seat passenger got off , the circus came next to me ...trying to be clever rsoles ...luckily I got my training on chit chat ...and after a few verbal spats they went after an easier mark further down and across the bus ...a Benny Hill lookalike .. I'm a large guy as well , but they weren't intimidated too much by that , and I thought its because if you grab one by the neck or belt one in the nose as you would have done a few years back-- they get the police to lock you up these days ... WTF is someone supposed to do ? The Police wouldn't thank you for calling them , the Bus Driver obviously keeps his head down and just drives .. On the return journey from my destination to the Town centre a different half dozen crew + this time accompanied by 3x highly performing slapper teen girls --were on the ramapage on the bus ... doing near enough similar stuff til they got off ... sheeeesh ..inner city life for the poor majority of law abiding citizens must be a kind of hell on earth !!...
frustrated i couldn't wallop one of them really ...to focus their minds a bit better ...and a bit ashamed of this section of todays youth ...and of Liverpool youth in particular in these instances ... and so glad I don't have it daily as many people would seem to have ..

BEST bet is to try and live in a place where these people are not, which probably requires money.
This thing happens all the time in Luton, but it never used to happen in St John's Wood.

local trains mid afternoon are pretty ropey these days. people drunk coming back from court of probabtion visit and so on, mixed with local yobbos and the odd shopper and pensioner.
