Report Nirvana • December 11, 2009 6:31 PM GMT

Report panglima • December 11, 2009 6:31 PM GMT
Before the days, when every player earned fortunes and had fitness trainers, after a match they go out socially. A particular player, whose name escapes me, after a few beers, always insisted on going to the chippy before going home. His favourite fish was "Haddock", but being a**ney, he pronounced it as "Addick". His mates adopted it in the dressing room as a leg pull, but the name carried through and has now become firmly established as the clubs nickname.
