or any of the big supermarkets e.g. tesco, sainsburys etc

Personally, I think M & S food is universally shocking. Do you have a Waitrose near you?
Report Jimbo747 • December 11, 2009 11:40 AM GMT
Waitrose is a good call.
Report Capt__F • December 11, 2009 11:43 AM GMT
Christmas surely
Report canaryboy • December 11, 2009 11:51 AM GMT
we have a waitrose but not keen on their products at all
Report sibaroni • December 11, 2009 11:59 AM GMT
Go round your independants then - delis etc. M & S are sh*te, the supermarkets are okay but average, you don't like Waitrose.

Get to the deli's/butchers/farmshops/markets. Far better.

Thats the first time I've ever heard anyone criticise M&S food.

Personally i think the food in there is amazing - just too expensive to have regularly.
Report canaryboy • December 11, 2009 12:31 PM GMT
someone else on here regularly ***** it off

i can't say i've ever had any problems with it tho

Roast some spuds and parsnips and add a few stuffing balls to the roasting tin later on , knock up some cauliflower cheese , any green veg you fancy , carrots , butter beans and some nice yorkshires.....cover with gravy......don't really need the meat but you got to have a roast christmas day imo......

M&S food is very nice. Sadly, M&S staff are thick.

Chuck a turkey in the oven ffs, it's not rocket salad.. make the effort for that 1 special day

Meals on Wheels does a fine line in chicken roll, stewed cabbage and cold mashed potato I hear.
