as in Europe an "outsider" or 2 "outsiders" will be drafted in to make up a manageable complement . They will fit in with the Players already in , but will not be Pokermonster standard...making for a decent Comp.. :D |

Excellent news. Well done Astontom.
We currently have 15 ACCEPTORS and are just waiting for NATALIA GEMELOVER. He has til midnight tonight to accept. Otherwise we will go with 15 quizzers. If it is 16 there will 4x groups of 4 with the winners and runners up of each group progressing to the quarter finals as stated previously. If it is 15 there will 3x groups of 5, with the top 2 in each group qualifying for the quarter-finals plus the 2 best third placed teams of the three. Note the third place qualifiers will be decided on GOALS SCORED (ie questions correctly answered). The 3rd placed quizzer who has scored the least goals will therefore go out. The draw will take place tomorrow lunchtime live on chit chat. Matches can be commenced anytime from 7pm tomorrow if prearranged in advance and quizzers will have one week to play their first two group matches. |

As JJ says above, if Nat Gem doesn't sign in by 11am, we have decided to throw in a wild card to make up the 16 in view of the fact that a few players have stated their preference for this rather than 15.

So the 4x Groups Draw ( Groups A,B,C,D) is LIVE at Noon on a seperate header ...
Then the Draw for the Quarter Finals + Beyond is as follows qf1 Winner A v Runner up D qf2 Winner B v Runner up C qf3 Winner C v Runner up B qf4 Winner D v Runner up A then semis sf1 Winner qf1 v Winner qf2 sf2 Winner qf3 v Winnr qf4 the final will also be home and away legs just like the quarters and the semis. |
