Hawtrey's one time local was the Ship. Used to like popping in there occassionally, as it had Fullers USB on draught.

Let me take yo back dear reader to 1961 and our caravan near Faversham at Graveney.

"Theme For A Summer Place" was at Number 1 and it really was like "Darling Buds Of May" and we had FREEDOM...

No cash cows/No clampers, we could park anywhere and Yes! we DID leave our caravans unlocked....Woman made toffee apples all day...this is when England really was England...if you, cough-cough, get my meaning....:)
