what happens when i go for pension when older?
By:
if you're a poker pro, are you worried about jobseekers allowance or the state pension?
By:
you best contact yourlocal office to make voluntary NI contributions
By:
its a job like anyother although better pay, but what if the tax man contacts me? just tell him the truth?
By:
aye tell him the truth, you made yer money through gambling
By:
it's hardly "better pay"........you get grand "payouts"
By:
but yea pay voluntary N.I. if you were to become skint at 65 or whatever the age is by the time you get there, so you get full pension
By:
how much will i owe them if i havent paid in about 10 years or so ? Also if i offer to pay NI won't they start snooping ?
By:
what have they got to snoop? your gambling winnings?
I dunno what your NI payment would be after 10 years, I don't do N.I., after 10 years, it'll cheaper than you think, it's something like £100-£200 a year, that kind of figure, IF that it'll be very cheap, if yer a good poker player |

what is the actual rule on gamblin winnings, ive always thought its not taxable but u shud pay N.I if u can make a living
By:
The N.I. is for getting a state pension
