i'm one of those people who don't normally mind itunes, however i've just synced my ipod with my computer i got a few months ago and clicked the wipe and sync function but still have podcasts on which i no longer want (don't know how they've stayed on because they're not on my new computer)

upshot is i want them off and they're not listed in the podcast menu.i have heard of yamipod but if someone can tell me a better one or solve my problem i would be most grateful ;)

Throw it into the nearest skip and get a decent MP3 player.

ive got a much more sensibly named zen x-fi :)

its a good little player, though the software is just as terrible as itunes unfortunately.

I have a Cowon S9.

Don't need any software, just drag and drop from Windows.

you can drag n drop with mine, only problem is the album art doesnt work unless you use the crap software. its pretty annoying cos it searches your pc for every file imaginable. i hate that. i hate windows media player doing that too. i long for the day when you just added stuff manually and didnt have a million files of crap in your library.

I don't bother with the album art but some MP3s seem to have it embedded.

cunnybobbler....i use a nice little programme called tag and rename to tag my mp3's with album art
