Any Americans or Johnny Cash fans here? Why has this got 23million hits?

Because it's a classic?

probably best video ever

Because he's a star, previous material has to be taken into account. Personally i don't like this particular track however some of his work is awe inspiring.

One of the best songs ever written. Poignant video as he new he was dying.Very good, but not a patch on the Nine Inch Nails original.

What is it with people and 'Hurt'?Yes, poignant.......but not even in the Top 20 of Johnny Cash songs

Absolutely stunning trackAm not a fan of Johnny Cash or NIN, but this track is awesome.Kermits version makes me laugh thoughhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57ta7mkgrOU

Excuse my barging in but this thread MUST be fishing?? its only had that many hits as it was on a nike commercial some time ago.Hope this helps

hurt was origionally sung by nine inch nails, johnnys version is very good though

I'm with HRH, the 9'' Nails version was rubbish, and the Nike ad can hardly be the reason for so many hits. The fact of the matter is that this track hits the ''empathy'' button with millions of people.
