Because he's a star, previous material has to be taken into account. Personally i don't like this particular track however some of his work is awe inspiring.

Excuse my barging in but this thread MUST be fishing?? its only had that many hits as it was on a nike commercial some time ago.Hope this helps

hurt was origionally sung by nine inch nails, johnnys version is very good though

I'm with HRH, the 9'' Nails version was rubbish, and the Nike ad can hardly be the reason for so many hits. The fact of the matter is that this track hits the ''empathy'' button with millions of people.
