Cant believe that normally sane people are calling Dads Army a one joke comedy.
A comedy with class struggles, great acting, perfect timing and a half decent script. As has been said earlier, BBC would be repeating it every other day on BBC 4 if it was a new comedy. |

When I was a youngster I wasn't the greatest fan of Dad's Army. As I've got older and wiser I've appreciated it a lot more and now regard it as a timeless classic. It's a fine wine not a cheap lager. If you watch it expecting a cheap lager you'll be disappointed.

Agree completely. Only watched it if it happened to be on and thought it was rather stupid. Very funny now.
