can any1 recommend any good hippy music

the first two albums by the band - 'music from big pink' and 'the band'

well worth a spin, imo..

thanks mate will give it a try

buy the first lp by John Prine. It includes "Angel Fom Montgomery " and "Sam Stone. "
I spend just about every autumn in the Bay Area and Prine's about as good as this genre gets.

The Band is a fine choice too.

thanks will give these mentions a try for certain
