I'm not a poker player but having heard how easy it was for my friends to make money (Yeah Right), I decided to deposit 50 quid in pokerstars and give it a go.
My first tournament was a 5 dollar tournament with about 4000 players.
Anyway, I was**ed as a**t and managed to make it down to the 400 players. Good money I thought.
Poked my way down to the last 50 an by this time I was thinking of changing the car.
I made the final table and was close to waking the wife up at 3am to tell her we were millionaires but decided not to as it may disturb my "rythmn".
When i was finally knocked out in ninth place, I couldn't wait to check my account.
5x 4000= 2million and I would get at least 10%
Sixty **in quid.
