It's difficult to know how to score it BJK.
|
|
By:
I'm sure you will work something out though.
|
|
By:
im thinking more 5-4-3-2-2-1-1-1-1....
what do you reckon? |
|
By:
Yes.That seems OK.
|
|
By:
five still too generous imo
|
|
By:
Not like the old days as we never reached a thousand posts
still good fun though. :) |
|
By:
yes mik 5 maybe too generous...
might go for 4 as top score (liked that when i did it in a few quizzes) needs to be more scoring only problme with that is, takes ages to score :) |
|
By:
was a good quiz though BC, and id have been here earlier to add to the posts but didnt get back til gone 11.
You might have yourself a regular 9pm slot for a multi choice quiz BC |
|
By:
The thing is, some of us can't be here for 8-9pm kick offs, BJK.
This is the first quiz in ages that has suited 'my times'. I think the 8-9pm boys are well catered for already. It's hardly like there was a poor turnout for this. |

I know tommy i agree. so i will still do quizzes in the afternoons but wanted one for a late night too.
I will be making quite a few comps so its not a flash in the pan. BTW whats your favourite 2 sports tommy? and what era ;) |

what u reckon to the scoring of 4-3-2-2-1-1-1.... BC?
need a better system than simple 4-3-2-1 but it is common for people to copy first couple of posters. thinking the one above maybe best |

Favourites are Boxing and Horse Racing, BJK, but I probably score most on boxing and athletics.
Boxing: Anything pre-1990s Athletics: Any era - but probably best in the 60s/70s. |

will try putting a few in, just in case your around :)

I was in the Premiership for a while BJK, with the career of Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali as my specialist subject. Only one person beat me at home.
I've got no interest in football at all, that's why I don't bother playing in any sports quizzes. Got a limited knowledge of horse racing, but that's about it for sports. |
|
By:
BC i know you dont do football at all. In the last pic quiz i did with sportsmen i had 1 footballer in.... thought you would appreciate the touch ;)
I have done similiar with my next one BC, and i try and make them so some are easy and people can get off the mark with on scoring and plenty that are hard and challenging so its not a FFF fest. hard to find the balance but im getting there i think... its just the scoring but then never will be a system that is perfect |

Cheers BJK!

I used to do 5-4-3-2 and 1 for every other correct answer, and used to get 20 to 25 runners every quiz.
But that was before all the 'boffins' arrived here. They don't chat between questions in case they miss a point, and for me, it got too serious. |
|
By:
I would have pissed this if I took part.
|
|
By:
I'd have beaten you.
|
|
By:
I doubt that spelling. Taxi was Newham champion quizzer three years running with his team The Multiculturals.
|
|
By:
I'd have been a certainty to beat CMAT, after getting on some favourable wagers
I was a friend of Big Charlie (RIP - 6 years this month iirc) and he would have emailed me the answers in advance. |

These multiple choice quizzes will henceforth be called 'O'Leery's choice'.
A bit like Hobson's choice but not as fair. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2972900/Better-luck-time-Ryanair-caught-fooling-passengers-3-50-online-quiz-impossible-win.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490 |

As the clocks change twice a year, they end up in the same place, or no more than an hour out.
How did the first question on page 1 get posted at 8-00 P.M. for a 10-00 P.M. start? We should be told. |
